A timing overlay. Not a promise.

RetireMe publishes the Investing Engine — five models on TradingView — a free Trend Model, an optional retirement planner, and The Desk, a capped engagement with the founder. None of that is financial advice. None of it places a trade. These terms govern how you use them. Written to be read, not buried.

§ 01 · Read this first

Not financial advice.

Important

RetireMe is a timing overlay, a set of TradingView models, an optional planner, and a paid engagement about how those models are used. All of that is for informational and educational purposes only. Projections, simulations, portfolio analyses, model output, and anything said on a Desk call or written in a Desk channel do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and are not a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Nothing we publish is personalized to your circumstances. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.

RetireMe is not a registered investment adviser, and it is not a broker-dealer. We do not provide personalized investment advice.

§ 02 · Trading

Trading risk.

Risk of loss

Trading and investing carry a risk of loss, up to and including the loss of your entire capital. Leveraged products can lose more than the amount deposited. Past performance — ours, a model’s, or anyone else’s — does not indicate future results.

The Investing Engine informs decisions. It does not make them. We hold no discretion over any account of yours, we place no orders, and we never take custody of your money: every order you place is your own, entered in your own brokerage or exchange account, on your own judgment, at a time you choose. That remains true whether or not the order follows what a model showed, what a backtest suggested, or what was discussed on The Desk.

You therefore bear the entire economic consequence of your trading, including losses, taxes, financing costs, and fees. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

§ 03 · Accuracy

No guarantee of accuracy.

The Investing Engine’s models are computations over price data supplied by your TradingView account. That data comes from TradingView and its own vendors, not from us, and may be delayed, adjusted, revised, or incomplete. A model can be wrong because its input was wrong, and it can be right and still be followed by a loss.

The optional planner’s projections depend on assumptions about future market returns, inflation, and other inherently uncertain variables. Monte Carlo simulations illustrate a range of possible outcomes — they do not predict the future. Market data from Yahoo Finance may be delayed or incomplete.

We make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose in respect of any projection, signal, figure, or data displayed anywhere in the service.

§ 04 · Published results

Backtested, not traded.

Hypothetical results

Every performance figure we publish is a backtest — a simulation of how a configured strategy would have behaved over a past period, computed on public market data by the transparent backtest engine built into three of the five models. No published figure is a record of live trading, and none represents an account that we or anyone else actually traded. Hypothetical results are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not account for slippage, unfilled or rejected orders, financing costs, or the decisions a person makes under pressure, and every published run assumes $100,000 of starting capital and zero fees.

Two of the published runs — the Trend Model on META (weekly) and on AMD (weekly) — use the bar open fill convention. Bar open fills the trade at the signal bar’s own open while the signal itself derives from that same bar’s close. That is lookahead: the fill price occurs before the information that triggered it exists. It is a disclosure, not a realism preference, and returns produced that way are not achievable in live trading. The other three published runs fill at bar close.

The fill convention, the configuration, the test window, and the runs that trailed are published per run on our proof page, alongside the rule under which each configuration was chosen. Where a figure on any page of ours disagrees with the proof page, the proof page governs.

§ 05 · Delivery

Access through TradingView.

The Investing Engine’s models are invite-only Pine scripts hosted on TradingView. They run inside TradingView, on charts and data TradingView provides, in an account you hold with TradingView under TradingView’s own terms. You add them from Indicators → Invite-only scripts. You need your own TradingView account to use them; any TradingView plan, including the free tier, is sufficient. Your subscription with us does not include, pay for, or substitute for a TradingView plan.

  • TradingView provides no API for granting access to an invite-only script, so every invite is issued by hand. We grant paid access within 24 hours of you paying with your TradingView username already on file, and free Trend Model access the same day you send your username.
  • Those windows depend on the username you give us being correct and on your TradingView account being able to receive an invite. An invite sent to a username you mistyped cannot be recalled by us.
  • We do not control TradingView. We do not warrant its availability, its uptime, its pricing, its data, or its continued support for Pine scripts or for our scripts in particular.
  • If TradingView is unavailable, changes its terms or its platform, or restricts or removes access to our scripts or to your account, the Investing Engine may stop working through no act of ours. Section 12 sets out what we do and do not refund.
  • Your relationship with TradingView is your own, governed by TradingView's terms rather than these.
  • Trend Model is free. The Investing Engine money-back guarantee does not cover it, because no money changed hands. We may revoke it. Deleting your account revokes it.

§ 06 · The Desk

The Desk.

The Desk is a paid engagement with the founder, sold separately from the Investing Engine and capped at 10 seats. While all 10 seats are held it is not for sale, and there is no waiting list. A Desk seat includes the Investing Engine: The Desk sits above the engine, not beside it. The Desk is not always offered on the public pricing page. These terms still govern it when it is sold.

The boundary

What The Desk covers: The models, their configuration, and the founder's own decisions. Never what you should buy. Nothing said on a call, or written in a Desk channel, is personalized financial advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You will not be told what to hold. Section 02 applies to every decision you make with what you learn there.
  • The engagement is planned as three months. Week one: one 60-minute setup call, on which the models are configured against the positions you actually hold. Each month after: one call of 45 to 60 minutes. Between calls: written correspondence in a private channel, answered within one business day on weekdays. We review the engagement at the end of the three months, and it can be renewed to six.
  • Three months is the shape of the engagement, not a minimum commitment. The Desk is billed monthly and monthly only. You may leave at any time from your account settings. Leaving takes effect at your next renewal; nothing is charged or refunded on the day you leave.
  • Renewal past the reviewed term is by agreement. Neither of us is obliged to continue, and we may decline to renew or end an engagement — section 12 covers what happens to money in that case.
  • Leaving The Desk keeps your Investing Engine access. From your next renewal, your engine rate is set by whether you hold the founding entitlement at that moment: if you hold it, you return to the founding monthly rate; if you do not, you return to the standard monthly rate. The entitlement decides it, not the price you last paid.
  • When you leave, your monthly call and your private channel end with your seat, and the seat returns to sale. There is no waiting list to rejoin — if a seat is free, you can take it again.

§ 07 · Responsibility

User responsibility.

The service is for people who are 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm that.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for the TradingView username you give us, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account.

You are also responsible for your own legal, tax, and regulatory position — including whether trading a given product is lawful and appropriate for you where you live — and for the suitability of any decision you take. We do not assess suitability, and we do not know your circumstances.

§ 08 · Acceptable use

Acceptable use.

You may use the Investing Engine’s models on your own TradingView account. You may use the optional planner for your own planning. Both are for you — not for a firm you resell to.

  • The models are licensed for your use alone. Do not share, resell, sublicense, republish, or redistribute them or the access granted to them, and do not share your TradingView account in order to give another person the benefit of them.
  • Do not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to reconstruct the models' logic, and do not reproduce that logic in another script or product.
  • Material from The Desk — call recordings, notes, and anything written in your channel — is for your own use and may not be redistributed.
  • Scraping and automated access to RetireMe (bots, scripts) are prohibited without prior written consent, and expensive endpoints are rate-limited.
  • We may revoke model access, rate-limit, suspend, or block accounts that breach this section.

§ 09 · Ownership

Your data & intellectual property.

  • You retain all ownership rights to the financial data, scenarios, configurations, and other information you input into RetireMe.
  • You grant RetireMe a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service — running simulations, generating projections, storing your scenarios, and granting TradingView access against the username you gave us.
  • This license terminates immediately when you delete your account. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • RetireMe retains all intellectual-property rights to its software, algorithms, methodology, models, user interface, and documentation.
  • The Investing Engine's models are licensed, not sold. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them on your own TradingView account for as long as your subscription is active. That license ends when your paid access ends, and model access is revoked accordingly.
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized usage statistics for product improvement. This data cannot identify individual users.

§ 10 · Accounts

Accounts & termination.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

When paid access ends — by cancellation, by termination, or because payment ultimately failed after our retries — model access is revoked and any Desk seat ends. Free Trend Model access ends when the account is deleted, and may be revoked sooner. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy.

§ 11 · Billing

Subscription & billing.

The Investing Engine is available on monthly or annual billing. The Desk is billed monthly only. All payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel or change plan at any time from your account settings.

Canceling takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You are not charged again, and you keep access to what you have already paid for through the end of that period. If a payment fails, we retry it over a short recovery window and tell you; if it is still unpaid when that window closes, paid access ends.

Founding pricing.

Founding pricing closes at 50 seats. While seats remain, subscribing at the founding price locks that rate: it does not rise for as long as your subscription stays active.

  • Canceling forfeits the founding rate, and the forfeit happens when your access ends rather than when you click cancel. Reactivate before your current period runs out and you keep it.
  • Once access ends, your seat returns to the founding pool and you resubscribe at whatever price is open then. The same forfeit applies if paid access ends because payment ultimately failed.
  • Moving up to The Desk does not forfeit it. A Desk member holds the founding entitlement without occupying a founding seat, which is why leaving The Desk returns them to founding pricing under section 06.
  • Changing to a price that is not a founding price forfeits the entitlement.

§ 12 · Refunds

Refunds & the guarantee.

The Investing Engine carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the engine is not for you in 30 days, one email, we refund it. Cancel anytime after. Canceling and refunding are two different things: canceling stops the next charge, refunding returns the last one.

If you ask for a refund within 30 days of your initial engine purchase, email support@retireme.app. The refund is returned to your original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days, and model access is revoked when the refund is issued.

The Desk

Not covered by the 30-day guarantee. Time given cannot be handed back. If the fit is wrong we will end the engagement early and refund at our discretion — that discretion is ours, exercised on our own judgment, so that a poor match is not trapped on either side. It is a decision we make, not a window you can claim.

After the 30-day window on the engine, cancellation rather than a refund is the remedy: it takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you are not charged again, and you keep access through the end of that period. Trend Model is free. The Investing Engine money-back guarantee does not cover it.

§ 13 · Liability

Limitation of liability.

Important

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RetireMe and its creators shall not be liable for any trading or investment loss, lost profit, missed opportunity, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the service — its projections, its models, its published backtests, or anything discussed on The Desk. This includes loss arising from the unavailability, error, or discontinuation of a third party we depend on, including TradingView and Stripe. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

§ 14 · Changes

Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

§ 15 · The other party

Who you contract with.

These terms are the agreement between you and Tristan Marcus, doing business as RetireMe. Email is how a dispute starts: support@retireme.app. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still applies.
